This extensive period property has been altered to provide greater flexibility in the layout and develop previous under utilised spaces.
Load bearing walls were removed to open up the kitchen / dining / lounge area to make it an inviting, open space for entertaining. Each steel beam used for the supports weighed 400Kg and had to be man lifted into place through the home.
The kitchen designed and made by Christopher Howard, includes stone which we refurbished and repointed to make a feature behind the range cooker and helps create a nice blend of the old and new.
“Made by Orocco” manufactured the bespoke utility units and the internal basement doors we’re made by hand to match the existing doors in the property.
The entire west wing of the home was re-wired to meet modern specifications.
